Best Birth Control – Acne and Me

I had acne from about age 18 up to about 6 months ago, so believe me I know it is extremely demotivational, to say the least. When I turned 22 I bought myself some birth control just to be on the safe side. I went to my doctor first to see if I was healthy enough to qualify for taking birth control, just to be on the safe side (again). After I was approved I began shopping around to see which birth control would be the best for me. The first product I tried was Yasmin. I can tell you right now to stay away from Yasmin, it gave me cramps, headaches, and worst of all it made my acne 10 times worse than it already was.
Next I tried Ortho Tri-Cyclen. This is the best birth control, acne wise, that I have used to date. I used Ortho Tri-Cyclen for about 6 months (and had clear skin), then I switched to Desogen generic for a few months (I don’t know why). My acne immediately came back as soon as I started on Desogen, so I switched back to Ortho Tri-Cyclen. I have used Ortho Tri-Cyclen off and on for the past 3 years and I have yet to experience a single major breakout.

I would recommend that you use Ortho Tri-Cyclen birth control (-low dosage-) initially, just until the Clear For Life program starts to kick into gear for you (if you decide to go that route – I recommend it because it worked wonders for me). I’ll give you the link to the website where I bought my Ortho Tri-Cyclen. It was the cheapest place I could find, and their website also has great customer service.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Birth Control

Whether it be because you want to prevent pregnancy or clear up a bad case of acne, the reasons are yours. It is a personal choice to go on birth control. First things first, talk to the doc. Explain to him in detail what it is you want. He may prescribe for you Ortho Tri-Cyclen birth control.
Your doctor will explain to you more in detail the possibility of taking ethinyl estradiol and norgetsimate, or Ortho Tri-Cyclen birth control. This is a specific combination of female hormones targeted to prevent pregnancy. This contraceptive works not only by preventing ovulation, but it also creates changes in the cervical mucus and the uterine lining. These changes essentially make it more difficult for sperm to reach an egg and also, should an egg be fertilized, it would most likely not be able to attach to the uterine lining. Thus preventing pregnancy.
It is important that you understand a few points, however. Do not start taking Ortho Tri-Cyclen birth control if you are pregnant or have recently had a baby. This medication will up your risk of blood clots, stroke and heart attack if you smoke and/or if you’re older than thirty five. When you first start taking this medication, it is a very good idea to use condoms or other back up contraceptives like spermicides while your body adjusts to the change. Be sure to follow your doctors directions and counsels perfectly concerning your prescription.
There are many forms of birth control. It is important that you research and study on your own to ensure that you have all the facts you can find about Ortho Tri-Cyclen birth control if that’s what you are considering taking. You must have a level of confidence in your decision to take a medication and be at peace with the decision you make. You don’t want to start taking a medication to relieve one stress only to add a different kind of worry. In other words, you don’t want to take birth control and have it relieve your worry of getting pregnant while only adding worries about the drug itself and what side effects might occur.
